Fantasy college sports is not new. U-Sports has been hosting college fantasy leagues for twelve years and "spreadsheet-based" leagues have existed for even longer. Yet I still encounter the same reaction when I talk about college fantasy sports - "I didn't know that existed. I would love to play fantasy football/basketball with college players."
For a variety of reasons, the media companies who host the most popular fantasy leagues for professional sports do not provide fantasy leagues for college sports. This leads many to believe the service doesn't exist.
Therefore the mission of this blog is two-fold:
- Provide a forum for college fantasy experts to share their advice and commentary
- Increase the awareness of college fantasy sports
While U-Sports is managing this forum, we will be inviting experts from around the industry to contribute. Contributors will include college fantasy analysts, authors, service providers, and expert fantasy managers. We also hope you contribute to the discussion by adding your comments to the posts.
